B-WZB (15 ECTS) - Additional scientific qualitfications for biologists

Choose courses up to 15 ECTS-points according to these criteria:
  • You can choose any courses from any curricula available at the University of Vienna. A good overview gives the course catalog for Biology, but you are not limited to these courses!
  • However, if you want to do a master degree in Anthropology, you may not choose any courses from the master degree Anthropology in this WZB-module!
  • These criteria have to be met for B-WZB: positive degree in B-BIO 1, B-BIO 2 and B-BIO 6.

Bachelor's thesis

  • The student has to write a thesis about one of practical project courses from B-BAN 10. Details about this thesis have to be clarified with the lecturer beforehands.
  • The thesis has to be given to the lecturer in printed and electronic form (.PDF or .DOC).
  • All bachelor students have to present their finished thesis at the bachelor-day, which will be held at the end of each semester. The presentation should have a length of about 10 minutes.
